C.O.P. Objectives
The Community Outreach Program (COP) of National College of Business and Arts was created in order to give welfare and assistance to its nearby poor communities that can help develop there wellbeing. These are also an answer to the scriptures in the Bible on one of its part in Matthew 25:31:46

In view of these, COP will provide services in three fold task; Livelihood, Social responsibility, and Education. The Institution of Higher Education defined "services as through formal or informal consulation with local nonprofit governmental, and community-based organizations , as designed to improve the quality of life for community residents. Particularly low-income individuals, or to solve particular problems related to their needs, including :

  1. such fields as health care, child care, literacy training, education ( including tutorial services), welfare, social services, transportation, housing and neighborhood improvement, public safety, crime prevention and control recreation, rural development, and community improvement.
  2. work in service opportunities or youth corps as defined in the National and Community Service Act of 1990
  3. support services to students with disabilities; and
  4. activities in which a student serves as mentor for such purposes as tutoring, supporting educational and recreational activities; and counseling, including career counseling."
(Taken from the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended by the Higher Education Amendments of 1992 and the Higher Education Technical Amendments of 1993)
The NCBA-COP will promote and facilitate opportunities to build partnership between our campus and community through servce. NCBA community service houses both the co-curricular Community Outreach Program as well as the academic service-learning program. The opportunities and resources that we offer with regard to each program operate on the premise that NCBA community service collaboration is mutually beneficial and adheres to COP's motto
"Not unto OurselvesAlone are we born."
