NCBA now offers Online Medical Transcription Training
National College of Business and Arts (NCBA) Fairview campus now offers home-based Online-Blended Entry-Level Medical Transcription (ELMT) training in partnership with Total Transcription Solutions, Inc (TTSI).
The Online-Blended ELMT program is a 12-week course which combines self-paced online training and instructor-guided facility-based training for entry-level medical transcriptionists. The program provides an accessible, affordable and appropriate online platform for entry-level medical transcription training in order to achieve the basic skills and competencies required by potential employers. This was developed with employers in mind as the learning concepts and contents are based on the production and training needs of MT companies, while taking into consideration prospective students who would like to learn medical transcription at their own pace, place and time
The Online-Blended ELMT program has been recently awarded Outstanding Consumer Application of the Year for Transcription by the e-Services 2010 Awards. The e-Services Awards recognizes outstanding achievements in technology development locally and showcase them during the e-Services Global Sourcing Conference and Exhibition, a two-day international trade show and conference in the Philippines that serves as the platform for IT and IT-enabled services providers from around the globe to network under one venue.
