Preparatory course for Medical Transcription (MT Prep)

MT Prep is an intensive 18-hour orientation course that provides students with a fundamental understanding of medical transcription and the basic competencies needed to pursue it as a profession.

The course is ideal for:

* college students and graduates who are considering a career in MT, to enhance their chances of qualifying for a formal MT training program
* new high school graduates who are undecided about their careers and would benefit from a straightforward, no-holds-barred presentation of a career option
* employed individuals who want to obtain an appreciation of MT

* awareness of U.S. HIPAA and its importance
