NCBA@40 : Resolute and United to Build the Youth's Future

Atty. Jose R. Torres   Message from the President

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I extend my sincerest greetings and congratulations to the NCBA community on the occasion of its 40th founding anniversary

Befitting is our celebration’s theme,“NCBA: Resolute and United to Build the
Youth’s Future,” as our crusade for attainment of educational excellence following its 40th year gives our institution a stentorian challenge to move on in building the youth’s future. Let us keep in mind how ruby’s regal scarlet luster is symbolic of our indefatigable strive for quality education, a testimony of which is our numerous graduates now successful in the fields of business, government service, and arts and entertainment.

It was in 1968 when NCBA started in Manila’s university belt offering business, liberal arts and basic education. That was an exciting beginning during what was known as the idealistic 60’s. In 1979, NCBA opened its campus in Cubao, Quezon City, its second major milestone which was followed after five years by the opening of the Taytay branch. In 1995 the Fairview campus opened with courses preparatory to the new millennium trends and challenges in education. The recent years from the advent of the 21st century were a period to expand our vision and mission via new courses and updated programs. BS Nursing, BS HRM, BS Information System, and graduate studies in Business Administration and Public Administration were thus incorporated to the curricula.

Celebration of each anniversary escalates into the realization of a challenge for the future – a step to continue, excel and find a niche alongside the foremost educational institutions of the country. May our 40th anniversary be a vision forerunner – NCBA with a plenitude of blessings in the years ahead!
