NCBA Taytay - The College of Nursing held their Capping, Pinning, and Candle Lighting Ceremony for Batch 2009 Graduates last June 13, 2007, at Doña Marcela Function Hall of Club Manila East, Taytay, Rizal.

With the theme, "Nursing Strength... Commitment... Compassion," the ceremony was participated by 54 nursing students and their parents.

This year's guest speaker was Dr. Digna Lanuza. CHED Region IV's Nursing Supervisor. The imposition of caps was done by Mrs. Emelita P.Lao, Dean, College of Nursing. Mr. Edwin P. Torres, OIC NCBA Taytay branch, was in charge for the pins, and Mrs. Gina M. Mijares, College Registrar, took over the nameplates.

After having this ceremony, our junior nurses may now perform the total nursing care, but of course with the supervision of their clinical instructors. They can now practice simple medical procedures such as injecting and carrying our doctor's order in their assigned hospitals.
