In line with our celebration of National clean-up and Green Month and World clean & Green Week, W.A.S.T.E. coordinator Prof. Madelyn Cascante conducted a lecture -seminar on Solid Waste Management and Urban Greening for Clean air held last September 21, 2005 with guest speakers from the Department of Environment & natural Resources (DENR) & National Solid Waste Management Commission (NSWMC). The lecture-seminar started at 9:00 in the morning and was held at the Science AVR. Due to small venue, only 50 students participants(ten representatives from different departments) were invited to participate
