One of the most anticipated events of the year was Intramurals. It was held on December 6,7, and 8. 2006. Once again, the NCBA gymnasium was filled with great excitement and monstrous eagerness as the students gave it all in a momentary opportunity to show what they've got!
The whole college studentry welcomed the event, overshadow the expected. Ceremony started with a color-coordinated parade to possess cognizability among students. Of course, who could resist the lovely muses who proudly represent their own departments, wearing their best sports attire as they walked sexy and sporty as possible.
The presentation of athletes was done by Dr. Rodolfo M. Fortades, quoting that "Someone will win; someone will lose," with a qui of "Hindi ako susuko, para sa'yo ang laban na'to." "Health is power" and "may the best team wins," are the lines emphasized by the OIC, Prof. Edwin P. Torres as he opened the competition.
As the ceremony started, the respective muses modeled around the gym, fascinating the crowd with their charms as Ma. Theresa Resurreccion divulged the predator lineage of Bus. Administration, Michele Zabal engulf the screams of the bright Accountants, Carsie Lobarbio hinted that Nursing students are great not only in quantity but also in competency, Mary Elaine Jose as reigning Ms. HRM, gave a divergent allure and made the crowd to shout out loud, and lastly but not the least, to represent Computer Science, Mary Jane Loyola signifies their technical dare as the computer specialist.
For the cheering competition, BS Computer Science students first wearing nice costumes as they danced creatively with their unique and entertaining routines. the BSHRM bangs with unstoppable stunts and routines as they crawled like armies for their extreme entrance. Their sexy dance steps that are full of graces made the crowd titilating. The spirited, synchronized,and disciplined BSA red-splatters did a very extravagant performance as they danced with the red flower! the BSN students, being the defending champion, astonished the expectations with their unique choreography, stunts and routines. The BA Department performed and keenly predominate the competition, demonstrating pompous dance steps, brilliant stunts and a radiant routine even technical problem happened.
For the best muse competition, Mary Elaine Jose overwhelmed the others as the judges declared her as Ms. Intramurals 2006, Michele Zabal of BSA and Carsie Lobarbio of BSN were declared as First and Second runners-up, respectively.
