This year's school foundation days celebration was set on February 26, 27, 28, 2009 with the them "Fortitude in Response to Global Challenges"
To ensure the success of the occassion, the Officer-in-Charge of NCBA Taytay, Mr. Edwin P. Torres, together with other school officials have activities lined-up for the three day affair
The first day of the celebration started with a Thanksgiving mass, the school's Drum and Lyre Corps showcased their unique skills together with the exhibition of four-Higantes who served as the main attraction for the day. Lots of students and staff took a picture with the Higantes. Simultaneously, the CS Department commenced with their Quiz Bee (Level 1), CS Exhibits on "Artificial Intelligence" & Robotics, Interactive Programming Competition. The HRM Department had their exhibit on Table Setting, Tourist Spot & Products, Food Tasting & Cocktail Mix, Cakes. Simple breakfast and Service Awards Ceremony were also held at the HRM Building. Medical Mission of the College of Nursing was opened to Community with free check-ups and medicines they need. The Accounting students won the Inter-Department Quiz Bee organized by the LAS Department. The seminars on Drug Addiction and in Banking were also held at the Mini-theater. To complete the first day full of excitements, the Mr. and Ms. Teen NCBA 2009 of the High School department show-off.
On February 27, Fruit and Vegetables curving and Bar Tending Seminar was offered to all students. Literary, Musical and Dance Contest of the Elementary and High School Department happened in the morning and in the afternoon, respectively. The BSCS Programming Competition and the BSN's Value formation and Faculty Development Seminar enlightened the participants. At 6pm, Fireworks were also displayed and signaled that the Sugrar Free Concert began.
