The Hotel and Restaurant Manangement Society (HRMS) conducted a seminar about personality development last August 29 in the NCBA Auditorium.
HRM students, from freshmen to seniors, listened to the speaker Mrs. Cheryl T. Josef, a distinguised instructor from University of Santo Tomas.
She discussed that dressing up is not only for self-expression but also for the impression of the institution one represents. She gave lessons on choosing the proper attire for both ladies and gentlemen. She also spilled tips on make-ups and hairdos.
She even had a demonstration and gave a randomly selected student a makeover.
She left the students a point that improving one's looks could not alienate one's personality but boosts one's confidence instead.
